About The Daisy Club

27% of Canadians live with a disability, yet accessible, welcoming fitness is still hard to find, at any age. Mainstream movement spaces simply aren’t designed for disabled people.

That’s the gap we’re here to fill.

The Daisy Club is where movement, connection, and fun come together: a space for disabled, self-identifying women, non-binary, and trans-femme adults (18+) to take up room, move with joy, and feel at home.

Whether you use a wheelchair, a chair, or no chair at all, we explore the joy of movement through dance and body-based exercises, and we have a lot of fun doing it, from dance parties to brunch.

Virtual for accessibility, with in-person meetups to foster deeper connections, and a place to champion accessibility together.

The Daisy Club isn’t for everyone, and that’s exactly the point. It’s a space made with intention, for you.

'‘I’ve often struggled to find workouts that work with my body, but I’ve found my place in this community of Daisies!”

Beyond the Club, Darlene also brings Adaptive Fitness Workshops to schools, workplaces, and community events. They’re inclusive, feel-good sessions where everyone can join in, however they move. Reach out to bring one to your space.

“Darlene’s warmth immediately put everyone at ease, and she made every movement accessible and inclusive. So many smiles and laughs. I’d highly recommend her workshops and seated workout classes!”
